HYDERABAD: As many as 21,552 tanks out of 43,870 under the territorial limits of Engineer-in-Chief and Chief Engineers across the State received surplus water while 13,451 tanks were filled between 75 per cent and 100 per cent.
Kothagudem topped the list with 2,070 tanks receiving surplus water followed by 2,065 tanks in Gajwel and 1,815 tanks in Warangal, according to tank filling status report on Tuesday.
