50 percent people were satisfied under Praja Palana, claims Bhatti

Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka returned to Hyderabad from New Delhi on Thursday. Speaking informally with media personnel in New Delhi earlier, he emphasized that the Congress government was providing better governance compared to the BRS administration. However, he acknowledged that some level of opposition is natural in a democratic setup.

Hyderabad: Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka claimed that 50 percent people were satisfied under the Congress Praja Palana and said that one cannot expect 100 percent people to be satisfied under any governance.

The Deputy Chief Minister arrived in Hyderabad back from New Delhi on Thursday. Earlier in an informal chit chat with media persons in New Delhi, he said the Congress was delivering better governance compared to the BRS government. However, there would be some opposition in democracy, he stressed.

Stating that he had not met Congress MP Rahul Gandhi, the Deputy Chief Minister said the party high command would take a final decision on cabinet expansion.

On the increasing food poisoning cases in government schools and hostels, Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka said from December 14 onwards all the MLAs, Ministers, officers and parents would have lunch with the students. The objective was to ensure quality food was being served to the students and assure the parents about their wards wellbeing, he stressed.

“Officially, there was no Telangana Thalli in the past. There was only TRS party’s Telangana Thalli,” Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka reportedly said while responding to the criticism over the statue.

The Deputy Chief Minister also claimed that HYDRAA does not have any difference in approach towards the rich and poor. It would initiate action against those, who encroach lakes and water bodies, he added.
