50-year-old woman electrocuted while drying clothes in Mancherial
In Chennur, a 50-year-old woman died of electrocution while drying clothes at her home in Kommera village. Faulty wiring reportedly passed current through tin roofing. Police registered a case and launched an investigation into the tragic incident
Mancherial: A woman was electrocuted while drying clothes at Kommera village in Chennur mandal on Tuesday.
Police said that Medanoni Jyothi (50), touched the wire through which electricity was passing, resulting in her spot death. She was living in an iron tin-roofed home. Electricity was supplied to the wire through the tins due to faulty wiring. Some neighbors noticed her body and alerted police.
Jyothi is survived by two daughters and a son. Based on a complaint, a case was registered and investigations were taken up.
