5,186 new Covid cases, 38 fatalities reported in Telangana
The number of active cases in the State is 68,462
Hyderabad: Telangana has reported 5,186 new Covid infections and 38 fatalities till Saturday evening, taking the cumulative number of deaths to 2,704 and the total number of positive cases to 4,92,385. The number of active cases in Telangana is 68,462.
Between Friday and Saturday, authorities conducted 69,148 Covid rapid tests of which results of 2,374 samples were awaited. On Saturday, 7,994 individuals have recovered with a recovery rate of 85.54 per cent. So far, a total of 1,35,57,646 Covid-19 tests have been conducted in the State out of which 4,92,385, have tested positive and 4,21,219 persons have recovered.
The Covid-19 positive cases reported from the districts included 59 from Adilabad, 97 from Bhadradri Kothagudem, 904 from areas under GHMC, 121 from Jagitial, 56 from Jangaon, 72 from Jayashankar Bhupalpally, 74 Jogulamba Gadwal, 75 from Kamareddy, 182 from Karimnagar, 176 from Khammam, 39 from Kumaram Bheem Asifabad, 172 from Mahabubnagar, 102 from Mahabubabad, 131 from Mancherial, 64 from Medak, 366 from Medchal-Malkajgiri, 58 from Mulugu, 172 from Nagarkurnool, 317 from Nalgonda, 50 from Narayanpet, 34 from Nirmal, 91 from Nizamabad, 139 from Peddapalli, 69 from Rajanna-Sircilla, 399 from Rangareddy, 133 from Sangareddy, 181 from Siddipet, 139 from Suryapet, 175 from Vikarabad, 79 from Wanaparthy, 92 from Warangal Rural, 231 from Warangal Urban and 137 from Yadadri Bhongir.
