70-year-old farmer burnt alive while dousing blaze in Mancherial
A 70-year-old farmer tragically died in Mancherial district while attempting to extinguish flames in a neighbouring farm at Thimmapur village.

Mancherial: A 70-year-old farmer was burnt alive while trying to put out flames at a farm in Thimmapur village on Tuesday. Police said that Regunta Pocham died on the spot when he sustained serious burn injuries. He was trying to put out flames in his neighbour’s farm.
Earlier, the owner of the neighbouring farm had set fire to paddy stubble to prepare his farm for cultivating paddy in the ensuing Vanakalam season. Pradeep, son of a deceased farmer, lodged a complaint with the police.
