808 people rescued in Telangana after heavy rains, 200 students evacuated in Kamareddy

Telangana Fire and Disaster Response teams rescued 808 people stranded by heavy rains in Kamareddy, Medak, Nirmal, Rajanna-Sircilla, and Jagtial districts. About 200 students at an SC Welfare Boys Residential School in Kamareddy were also safely evacuated.

Hyderabad: The Telangana Fire, Disaster Response and Emergency Department teams rescued 808 persons who were stranded due to heavy rains.

The boat crews, State Disaster Response Teams, and fire station crews, rescued the stranded people in Kamareddy, Medak, Nirmal, Rajanna Sircilla, and Jagtial districts.


Around 200 students who were stranded in the SC Welfare Boys Residential School at Kamareddy were rescued by the Nirmal Boat Crew and Nizamabad SDRF and shifted to a safe place.
