948 new cases, 5 deaths in Telangana
A total of 1,607 persons recovered on Tuesday, taking the cumulative Covid-19 recoveries in the State to 2,45,293 with a recovery rate of 94.42 per cent
Hyderabad: Telangana State has recorded 948 new Covid-19 infections and five fatalities on Tuesday, taking the overall toll to 1,415 and the cumulative number of positive cases so far to 2,59,776. As on Tuesday, there were 13,068 active Covid-19 cases in Telangana. A total of 1,607 persons recovered on Tuesday, taking the cumulative Covid-19 recoveries in the State to 2,45,293 with a recovery rate of 94.42 per cent, while the countrywide recovery rate is 93.5 per cent.
Between Monday and Tuesday, 42,433 Covid tests were conducted in the State while reports of another 807 samples are awaited. So far, a total of 49,72,407 Covid-19 tests have been conducted in the State out of which 2,59,776 have tested positive and 2,45,293 persons have recovered.
The Covid-19 positive cases reported from all the districts include 14 from Adilabad, 61 from Bhadradri, 154 from areas under GHMC, 27 from Jagtiyal, nine from Jangaon, 14 from Bhupalpally, eight from Gadwal, 25 from Kamareddy, 55 from Karimnagar, 44 from Khammam, five from Asifabad, 11 each from Mahabubnagar and Mahabubabad, 26 from Mancherial, 15 from Medak, 83 from Medchal Malkajgiri, 18 from Mulugu, 16 from Nagarkurnool, 45 from Nalgonda, four from Narayanpet, 10 from Nirmal, 13 from Nizamabad, 22 from Pedapalli, nine from Siricilla, 76 from Rangareddy, 38 from Sangareddy, 22 from Siddipet, 24 from Suryapet, 14 from Vikarabad, 11 from Wanaparthy, 12 from Warangal Rural and 40 from Warangal Urban and 12 from Bhongir.
