Hyderabad: Hyderabadis experienced a cool, cloudy and a breezy Saturday morning as the city saw a typical June day, with light spells of rain in Mehdipatnam, Bahadurpura and Lingampally as of afternoon.
These three areas experienced light rainfall, with 2.8 mm being the highest recorded at the automatic weather station (AWS) at Navodaya community hall in Mehdipatnam.
The maximum temperature recorded on Saturday was 31.6 degree Celsius at the AWS at Indiranagar community hall in Bandlaguda while most of the city saw temperatures hovering between 29 and 30 degree Celsius.
This has been consistent with the recordings and prediction by Indian Meteorological Department (IMD), as the maximum temperature recorded on Friday was 30.7 degree Celsius and a maximum of 31 was forecast for Saturday. The IMD also forecast cloudy skies with spells of rain over the weekend.
The night is expected to be cool, with a minimum temperature of around 23 degree Celsius, especially if the city sees rain towards the evening.
