Hyderabad: Students of Success Star School, Salala, Kothapet celebrated Teachers’ Day on a grand scale. Although it was Sunday, students rushed to the school to wish their teacher on the occasion. They crafted greetings cards and presented them to their teachers. Despite this pandemic, the spirit of students was at its peak. The school thanked the students for their sweet gestures.
Earlier, a gathering was held at school on the eve of Teachers’ Day that began with a prayer, and it was followed by some heartwarming performances by students like speeches, drawings, making greeting cards and bouquets, reciting Qiraath and hymns.
School director and president Mohammed Shujauddin and principal and correspondent Atiya Fatima along with teachers, students, and staff were present.
Speaking on the occasion Shujauddin emphasized the role of teachers in building a society. Atiya Fatima appreciated the teachers and congratulated them for their hard work.
‘Teachers are nation builders in true sense’
Students of Pallavi Aware International School organised a virtual gathering to mark Teachers’ Day as a tribute to the teaching fraternity. Students explained the importance of the day and the role of teachers play in moulding children. Children are the future of the nation and by preparing children for better tomorrow teachers take part in nation-building in real sense, students asserted as they spoke about their teachers.
They listed qualities of their teachers -their compassionate nature, their strict yet caring attitude, and the hand that always reaches out to them.
A poem mashup with poems from the languages Telugu, Hindi, and English was dedicated to all the teachers, reiterating how teachers help out their students. The event was interspersed with quotes from different educationists and famous teachers and professors.
The students enacted various plays illustrating the hard work that teachers put in in the classrooms and outside classrooms, how they prioritize their students. A video was played thanking teachers for their constant support. The students then presented a PowerPoint Presentation honoring Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan. The event ended with songs and dance performances by students.
