A mesmerising Graduation Day for kids at DPS Nacharam

Delhi Public School, Nacharam celebrated its first-ever virtual cultural cum Graduation Day to applaud the young enthusiastic learners of class pre-primary for their commendable performance in the session 2020-21. The event was graced by school chairman Malka Komaraiah and chief guest Dr. Mani Pavithra, led trainer with India’s Buffet Online School.
The celebration commenced with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp followed by a fusion welcome dance performance. Post this, principal Sunitha Rao shared words of encouragement with the audience. Headmistress Shukla Dasgupta shared the snippets of the academic year 2020-21 and spoke about both scholastic and non-scholastic activities.

She also appreciated the efforts of the parents and school for giving exposure to the children even on virtual platforms and have taken them to a different era.
Students presented enactment on the theme values – Colours of Life, which was appreciated by the audience.
The next presentation was a mesmerizing performance by students of prep A and M on the theme My Country, My Pride – where the participants took the audience on a walk through the Indian States and the folk dances of Manipur, Maharashtra, Punjab, Assam and Rajasthan were presented and left everyone spellbound.
Another heart-stealing performance was presented by students of prep B and H on the theme Reminiscence – where kids displayed all the activities conducted throughout the year on the virtual platform and their aimportance. The most important part of the day was the online felicitation of young graduates where the pictures of delighted tiny tots of pre-primary dressed in graduation robes and caps with a certificate in hands were showcased.
The programme culminated with the vote of thanks by the overall co-coordinator of pre-primary Rajyalakshmi.
