Aaron George felicitated by South Central Railway officials
Under-19 World Cup winner Aaron George was felicitated by South Central Railway Divisional Railway Manager Santosh Kumar Varma in Hyderabad. George played a key role in India’s campaign, scoring a match-winning century against Afghanistan in the semifinal
Hyderabad: Aaron George, member of the India World Cup (under-19) winning team, was felicitated by the South Central Railway Divisional Railway Manager Santosh Kumar Varma.
Aaron, it may be mentioned here, scored a match-winning century (115) against Afghanistan in the semifinal of the recent World Cup and had been an integral part of the team’s campaign.
He played for South Central Railway in the HCA Leagues.
Among those present included Mr DS Rama Rao, ADRM, Hyderabad Division, SCR, Olympian and Sports Officer of SCR JJ Shoba, former cricket coach of SCR RSR Murthy and assistant coach RA Viswanath.
