TRS leader Dr Kethireddy Vasudeva Reddy addressing the press meet after ABVP activists pelted stones at Govt Chief whip's camp office at Warangal on Monday.
Warangal Urban: More than a dozen ABVP activists laid siege to the camp office of Government Chief Whip and Warangal West MLA Dasyam Vinay Bhaskar and allegedly pelted stones at his office at Balasamudram here on Monday.
They demanded that the State government implement the 10 per cent quota for students from Economically Weaker Sections (EWS). Meanwhile, TRS leader and Telangana Vikalangula Cooperative Corporation (TVCC) Dr Kethireddy Vasudeva Reddy, addressing a press conference, condemned the attack on the camp office of Vinay Bhaskar.
“The four-year-daughter of Vinay Bhaskar, who was playing on the terrace, sustained minor injury in the stone pelting. This is not right to pelt the stone at the house. Moreover, Vinay Bhaskar has tested positive for Covid-19,” he said.
He also alleged that ABVP had no right to demand the State government to implement the EWS reservations since BJP ruled states were not implementing the same.
TRSV leaders Chirra Raju, B Veerender, Bairapaka Prashanth, M Sharathchandra and others were present at the press meet. Meanwhile, the Subedari police have taken the agitating ABVP activists into custody.
