Hyderabad: The ACB officials in Jagtial district caught Revenue Inspector M Rahul while allegedly accepting a bribe of Rs 30,000 at his residence in Beerpur on Thursday.
ACB officials said he had demanded Rs 50,000, later reduced to Rs 40,000, for conducting a land survey and issuing a report for registration and Pattadar Pass Book pertaining to the complainant.
The tainted cash was recovered, and Rahul was arrested and produced before the ACB Special Court in Karimnagar District.
