ACB arrests senior assistant for accepting bribe
The Anti-Corruption Bureau arrested district welfare department senior assistant Danuka Radhika in Karimnagar for allegedly accepting Rs 2.37 lakh in bribes from contractors for clearing ICDS supply bills. The payments were reportedly transferred through UPI to benami bank accounts

Karimnagar: Anti-Corruption Bureau sleuths arrested a senior assistant of the district welfare department, Danuka Radhika, for allegedly accepting a bribe to clear contractors’ bills.
According to ACB officials, Radhika collected a bribe of Rs 2.37 lakh from contractors to clear bills related to the supply of eggs and pulses to ICDS.
The contractors were allegedly asked to transfer the amounts through UPI to her benami bank accounts. As this was established during the investigation, ACB officials arrested Radhika.
