ACB conducts inspections at Paloncha municipal divisional office
The officials led by ACB Khammam range DSP, Y Ramesh questioned the staff and officials besides checking files. The inspections were said to have been conducted in the wake of complaints to ACB higher officials regarding widespread corruption in the office.

Kothagudem: The officials of Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) have conducted surprise inspections at Paloncha municipal divisional office of Kothagudem Municipal Corporation in the district on Friday.
The officials led by ACB Khammam range DSP, Y Ramesh questioned the staff and officials besides checking files. The inspections were said to have been conducted in the wake of complaints to ACB higher officials regarding widespread corruption in the office.
The DSP Ramesh told the media that a report on the findings of the inspections would be submitted to higher officials for further action. The inspections which began at around 11.30 am continued until the late evening hours.
As soon as the inspections started the entry and exit of the office was closed besides taking hold of mobile phones of the staff. Kothagudem Municipal Corporation commissioner K Sujatha, who served as Paloncha municipal commissioner in the past, was also summoned during the inspections.
