ACB conducts surprise inspections at Sathupalli municipal office
An Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) team led by Khammam range DSP Y. Ramesh carried out surprise inspections at the Sathupalli municipal office following complaints of irregularities in development works.
Khammam: An Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) team led by Khammam range DSP, Y Ramesh, conducted surprise inspections at Sathupalli municipal office on Tuesday.
The searches were initiated based on complaints alleging irregularities in various development works undertaken within the municipal limits. The ACB officials scrutinised the records maintained at the office, gathered information regarding several key issues and recorded statements.
Documents related to town planning, revenue, engineering, accounts, sanitation and bill collection departments were said to have been checked. The ACB also conducted searches at the municipal commissioner K Narasimha’s residence.
