ACB nabs Huzurabad municipal engineer for accepting Rs 50,000 bribe
The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) in Karimnagar trapped municipal Assistant Engineer Nusum Sudhakar Reddy while he was accepting a Rs 50,000 bribe from a contractor in Huzurabad.

Karimnagar: The sleuths of Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) trapped municipal Assistant Engineer (AE) Nusum Sudhakar Reddy while accepting Rs 50,000 bribe from a contractor in Huzurabad town on Wednesday.
According to ACB police, Sudhakar Reddy, who is working as an assistant engineer in Huzurabad municipality, demanded Rs 50,000 bribe from the complainant in exchange for recording Measurement Book (MB) entries and processing the final bill towards laying a storm water drain project executed by the complainant within Huzurabad municipality limits.
The contractor, who was reluctant in paying the bribe, approached the ACB. Acting on a complaint, the officials laid a trap and caught the assistant engineer while accepting the bribe amount from the complainant at the RTC depot chowk.
