Medak: Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) officials in Medak raided the medical reimbursement section in the government hospital in Medak on Friday following allegations of corruption against the section superintendent Lateef Mujahid.
Speaking to news reporters, the ACB DSP K Sudharshan said they found that 116 bills were pending in the section out of 284 received after Lateef took charge in September, 2025. He said the section incharge had failed to maintain the register of processed bills.
The DSP said the section incharge had bypassed the department heads and issued the reimbursement bills directly to beneficiaries. The ACB officials also interacted with the hospital superintendent Dr Sunitha and Lateef. Sudharshan said he would submit a report with evidence to higher officials in the health department on their findings during the raid.
