Hyderabad: Cyberabad Police Commissioner M Stephen Raveendra on Wednesday reviewed the progress of the investigation into POCSO cases and instructed officials to complete the investigation within 60 days.
Instructing the Anti-Human Trafficking Unit to close down places where illegal activities were carried out, he asked officials to check on activities of those involved in women harassment and crimes, and prepare a specific database for their effective monitoring.
“Keep a close watch at places like construction sites, shopping malls, vegetable markets, industrial, factory works, hospitals and identify potential criminals and also conduct orientation sessions to raise awareness among women to report the crime whenever such incidents occur,” he said.
