Hyderabad: TRS MLC Palla Rajeshwar Reddy on Tuesday said the party would definitely take action against the former Health Minister Eatala Rajender, who is in New Delhi to meet senior BJP leaders.
“Our party leader would take a decision on it at an appropriate time,” he said while addressing a press conference along with the government chief whip Bodakunti Venkateswarlu at Telangana Bhavan here. “Eatala has dug his own grave,” he said, adding that Eatala did unpardonable mistake.
“For the last 20 years, Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao nurtured several leaders and Eatala, who enjoyed several posts, was one among them,” he said. “What happened to Eatala’s ideology?” Rajeshwar Reddy asked and added that everyone developed extreme dislike towards Eatala for mortgaging his future with BJP.
“Being a Minister, Eatala did illegal activities and took lands from villagers Where is your self-respect?” he questioned. Launching a blistering attack on the Opposition parties for their outburst on the seven years TRS rule Rajeshwar Reddy said the former were speaking without any knowledge.
He said Telangana has achieved major development in the last seven years and priority was given to the welfare activities also. “We explained the development we did in the State and asked votes during every election. Accordingly, we achieved success in the elections,” he said.
He said the BJP Telangana State president Bandi Sanjay Kumar was speaking unnecessarily about the TRS rule. “We are throwing a challenge to him on the development we are doing in the State since 2014,” he said. The TRS government was in the forefront in giving quality power supply and water to farmers to meet the irrigation requirements compared to other States.
Telangana was the only State that was purchasing the crop produced by farmers. But the Congress and BJP leaders were speaking unreasonably on water issues, he said stating that the country’s GDP dipped because of BJP rule.
The graduates taught a fitting lesson to BJP during the MLC elections for speaking lies on jobs. “We never went back on Neelu (water), Nidhulu (funds) and Niyamakaalu (jobs) and did whatever we promised,” Rajeshwar Reddy added.
