Hyderabad: Actor Siddhu Jonnalagadda has shared the funny reaction of his family members after hearing that he was playing a full-length role in ‘DJ Tillu’. He said his family members initially thought that it was some run-of-the mill story and didn’t react much over it.
“After hearing the success of ‘DJ Tillu’, I feel proud when all of them, my parents, my immediate relatives call me to congratulate me. My brother, who is staying in the USA, was the first to track the response of the audiences overseas,” he said, adding it’s a great feeling and it takes time for success to sink in.
Commenting on the sequel of ‘DJ Tillu’, Siddhu says, “It might go on sets in another three four months but not anytime soon.”
Following positive reviews coming out for Siddhu Jonnalagadda’s latest release at the box office ‘DJ Tillu’, the actor said he waited for 10 long years to get the break in the film industry.
“‘DJ Tillu’ is my second theatrical release after ‘Guntur Talkies’. The wave so far is very positive. We know we would do it. The response from fans is humongous,” he said. Starring Neha Shetty in the female lead, the film features Brahmaji, Prince Cecil, Pragathi in key roles.
