Hyderabad: Telugu actress Kalpika Ganesh was reportedly attacked by staff members at a pub near Wipro Circle in Gachibowli, Hyderabad. The incident took place during a birthday celebration, after a disagreement between Kalpika and the management over bringing a cake.

According to the actress, the issue began when the club staff objected to her bringing a brownie to celebrate. In a video she later shared on Instagram, Kalpika can be seen arguing with the manager, who is heard saying they do not allow free birthday cakes. Kalpika responded that other clubs offer complimentary cakes and accused the pub of poor treatment. Things escalated when she refused to pay the bill, crumpled it, and threw it away.

She also shared a 40-minute video showing the entire argument, claiming the staff made personal comments about her clothes, parents, and identity.

Kalpika later approached the Gachibowli police and filed a complaint. A case has been registered, and an investigation is underway.

This is reportedly the second such incident involving pub staff and party-goers in the area in recent days. Kalpika, known for her roles in Seethamma Vaakitlo Sirimalle Chettu, HIT, and Padi Padi Leche Manasu, said she was ready to pay even Rs 10,000 if the staff had spoken to her politely.
