HYDERABAD: Adhyayan Banerjee of Delhi Public School (Nacharam) won the Brilliant Trophy Juniors online chess tournament with 10.5 points from 12 rounds on Tuesday.

Bharat Penumatsa and K Harshavardhan finished second and third respectively with 9.5 points by virtue of tie-break rule.


Final placings: Juniors: 1. Adhyayan Banerjee, 2. Bharat Penumatsa, 3. K Harshavardhan, 4. Purav Khandelwal, 5. Aarav Roy, 6. Lasya Tummapudi, 7. TR Ramchandran, 8. AG Advitiya, 9. Vaishali Garnepudi and 10. Shreyan Bag.
