Adilabad: BRS protests against Rythu Bharosa betrayal

The cadres conducted rasta-roko protests in the mandal centers and towns of Adilabad, Nirmal, Mancherial, and Kumram Bheem Asifabad districts. They raised slogans condemning the government for deceiving farmers. They accused the Congress of failing to fulfill its election promises and misleading the farmers.

Adilabad: Cadres of the BRS staged protests against the Congress government’s decision to offer only Rs.12000 per acre under Rythu Bharosa instead of the promised Rs 15,000 per acre.

The cadres staged rasta-roko in mandal centres and towns in Adilabad, Nirmal, Mancherial and Kumram Bheem Asifabad districts. They raised slogans criticizing the government for betraying the farmers. They said that the Congress failed to deliver the promise made at the time of the elections and duped the farmers.


Boath MLA Anil Jadhav, who participated in the protest held in Neradigonda mandal centre said that it was shameful on the part of the Congress to backtrack the word and to cheat the farmers. He stated that the farmers would teach a lesson to the party soon. He asked the public to be cautious of the fake promises of the party.
