Adilabad: The District Cooperative Central Bank (DCCB) Chairman Kamble Namdev died while undergoing treatment in Hyderabad on Wednesday. He suffered a heart attack on Tuesday night and was shifted to Hyderabad. He was 65.

A native of Gunjala village in Narnoor mandal, Nambev was unanimously elected chairman of DCCB during the elections to cooperative banks held in February, 2020. He earlier won from Gudihathnoor PACS in 1987.

According to family members, the final rites of Namdev will be held at his native place on Thursday. Activists and leaders of TRS expressed shock over the sudden demise of the chairman. They recalled his services and said Adilabad district lost a dedicated cooperative bank leader who rendered matchless services to the sector.
