Adilabad: Helpline number for addressing Covid grievances

Adilabad: Additional Collector M David advised the citizens to report their grievances pertaining to Covid-19 at a call centre created by the authorities concerned.
Speaking at a meeting with officials of revenue, police, health, education and Panchayat Raj departments here on Tuesday, David urged the public to convey their problem at the call centre and the district administration mechanism would take necessary action to address the problems.
He said that they could report their grievances at the toll free number 1800-425-1939 created by district authorities, 94407 95079 by the police department and 73827 26029 by the health and medical department.
The additional collector instructed the officials concerned to perform final rites of Covid-19 patients as per protocol of the disease. He told them to keep ready ambulances to shift the patients and to arrange personal protective equipment kits to provide treatment to the infected. He underlined the need to work in tandem for the authorities to tackle the unprecedented health crisis.
David further asked the officials of Panchayat Raj to take steps for keeping premises clean and to spray disinfect sodium hypochlorite. He requested the civilians aged above 45 to undergo vaccination against the virus. He told the officials to create awareness among the public over precautions to be taken for preventing Covid-19. He said that apprehensions over the vaccination must be allayed.
Additional Superintendent of Police Vinod Kumar, Adilabad Revenue Divisional Officer Jadi Rajeshwar, District Health and Medical Officer Dr Rathod Narender, District Panchayat Officer Srinivas, RIMS director Dr B Balaram, NPDCL SE Uttam Jade, Adilabad assistant municipal commissioner and many other officials were present.
