Adilabad police distribute blankets to tribals
In a community policing initiative, Adilabad district police, along with Agarwal Seva Trust, distributed 1,000 blankets to tribals and 50 volleyball kits to youngsters at Kummarikunta village in Utnoor mandal. Prohibition and Excise Minister Jupalli Krishna Rao, Khanapur MLA Vedma Bojju, and SP Akhil Mahajan attended the programme.

Adilabad: As part of community policing, the district police in collaboration with Agarwal Seva Trust, distributed 1,000 blankets to tribals and 50 volleyball kits to youngsters at a programme held at Kummarikunta village Utnoor mandal on Saturday.
Prohibition and Excise minister Jupalli Krishna Rao was the chief guest, while Khanapur MLA Vedma Bojju and Superintendent of Police Akhil Mahajan also graced the occasion.
Speaking on the occasion, Akhil advised the tribals to carry forward their distinctive traditions and culture and asked them not to believe superstitious beliefs. He told them to consult qualified doctors for any medical assistance, not quacks.
The police officer warned them against falling prey to the banned ganja and other drugs. He said that cultivating, trading and consuming ganja are illegal activities. He urged the tribals to stay away from them.
Members of the trust Rajesh Agarwal, Mahaveer, Dinesh, Gopal Agarwal, Gourav and elders of tribals were present.
