Adilabad senior district official accused of sexually harassing women employees
Fourteen women employees in Adilabad have accused a senior cooperative department official of sexual harassment, alleging he sent obscene messages and made calls via WhatsApp. A complaint has been lodged with senior authorities, while the official has denied the allegations.

Adilabad: Fourteen women employees have alleged that a senior district official of the Cooperative department sexually harassed them by sending obscene messages and making calls on WhatsApp. They lodged a complaint with the Commissioner of the department and District Collector Rajarshi Shah on Friday.
According to the complaint, the employees said they were subjected to harassment by the official and received objectionable messages and phone calls from him at odd hours, including late at night. They alleged that the officer also made comments about their appearance.
The women submitted what they said were pieces of evidence in support of their allegations and urged the Commissioner and the Collector to initiate action by ordering an inquiry.
When contacted, the official denied the allegations.
