Adilabad Sub-Registrar trapped in ACB net while accepting bribe Rs 5,000

The Anti-Corruption Bureau arrested Sub-Registrar Srinivas Reddy in Hyderabad on Friday after he was caught red-handed while accepting a ₹5,000 bribe from an applicant for registering a gifted property. The accused was taken into custody and investigation is on.

Adilabad: A Sub-Registrar was arrested by sleuths of Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) while he allegedly accepted a bribe of Rs 5,000 from an applicant here on Friday.

ACB officials said that the accused Sub-Registrar was Srinivas Reddy. Srinivas was caught red-handed when he was receiving the bribe from an applicant for registering his asset gifted by his parent on the records of the government.
