Aditya and Prakash win men’s doubles crown at Hyderabad carrom tournament
World Cup champion K Srinivas won the men’s singles title at the Kanumalla Muralimohan Memorial Open Carrom Tournament in Hyderabad. S Aditya and L Surya Prakash clinched the men’s doubles crown, while veterans Shahid Satyakar Jagwan and P Srinivasulu also emerged winners

Hyderabad: World Cup champion K Srinivas won the men’s singles title in the Kanumalla Muralimohan Memorial Open Carrom Tournament at Alkapuri Bhavan here.
In the men’s singles final, Srinivas of IOCL defeated M A Hakeem of BSNL 25-0, 25-5, while S Aditya and L Surya Prakash recorded a 21-12, 25-12 win against K Srinivas and U Naresh to take the men’s doubles crown.
Prizes were given away by senior Congress leaders Depa Bhaskar Reddy and Chiluka Upender Reddy, Alkapuri Welfare Association president Vamshi, EESBEE Sri Srinivas and Dr Kiran.
The organizers also thanked Raj Gopal of MediaWorks, in whose younger brother Muralimohan’s name the tournament was organized.
