Top players, including internationals and state-ranked competitors, have been given top seedings for the Telangana State Senior Ranking Carrom Tournament to be held in Hyderabad from May 23–26. Around 270 players from across the state will participate in the competition.
World Cup champion K Srinivas won the men’s singles title at the Kanumalla Muralimohan Memorial Open Carrom Tournament in Hyderabad. S Aditya and L Surya Prakash clinched the men’s doubles crown, while veterans Shahid Satyakar Jagwan and P Srinivasulu also emerged winners
The Kanumalla Muralimohan memorial Open carrom tournament will be held at Alkapuri Community Hall, Hyderabad, from December 18 to 20. Events include men’s singles, doubles, veteran men’s singles and women’s singles, with cash prizes up to Rs 20,000
T Subba Rao defeated D. Upender 25-17, 25-9 in the men’s singles first round of the Telangana State Senior and Junior Open Ranking Carrom Tournament at Anand Nagar Welfare Association Sports Academy Auditorium, Khairatabad. Other first round winners included Zaheer Ahmed and N. Sai Santosh.
