Advik Sahasya, Irfan win titles at Brilliant Trophy chess tournament
Advik Sahasya Ambati won the junior title, while Shaik Md Irfan claimed the open crown at the 245th Brilliant Trophy chess tournament in Hyderabad. Both scored 5.5 points in six rounds before winning their respective categories on tie-breaks

Hyderabad: Advik Sahasya Ambati and Shaik Md Irfan won the junior and open category titles, respectively, in the 245th Brilliant Trophy chess tournament held at Brilliant Grammar School, Dilsukhnagar, here on Sunday.
In the junior category, Advik Sahasya Ambati and K. Sai Vignesh tied for first place with 5.5 points each from six rounds. However, Advik Sahasya of Delhi Public School, Nacharam, won the title on the tie-break.
In the open category, Irfan and Aashish Reddy tied for first place with 5.5 points each from six rounds, but Irfan emerged as the winner on the tie-break.
