Aged woman left in graveyard by family members in Sircilla
70 year-old bedridden woman Kukatla Rajavva was left in a graveyard by her relatives in Thangallapalli village
Rajanna-Sircilla: In a heart wrenching incident, a 70 year-old bedridden woman Kukatla Rajavva was left in a graveyard by her relatives.
This inhuman incident took place in Thangallapalli village on Tuesday.
Rajavva, who worked as a sanitation worker in the village, was staying with her brother’s family as she did not have children and her husband died sometime ago.
She, who was suffering from health problems, was recently bedridden. Local people said that her nephew Thirupathy left her in the graveyard.
When the local people contacted, Thirupathy told them that children of Rajavva’s sister took her to their home. However, they left her in the graveyard.
Knowing about the incident, officials counselled Thirupathi and convinced him to take the woman back home.
