Mumbai: Actor Ahan Shetty, making his first appearance at the prestigious New York Fashion Week (NYFW), said the energy, creativity, and diversity of voices coming together make it a “unique experience.”
Speaking about his debut at NYFW, Ahan told IANS: “It’s inspiring to be at New York Fashion Week.”
The actor exuded effortless sophistication, dressed in a charcoal cardigan layered over a crisp white shirt and paired with impeccably tailored trousers. He completed the look with sleek accessories and bold dark sunglasses.
“The energy, the creativity, and the diversity of voices coming together here make it such a unique experience. I really enjoyed being part of that atmosphere and seeing how fashion continues to push boundaries while still feeling so connected to the times we live in,” he added.
Earlier, Ahan had shared a glimpse of himself suiting up for NYFW on Instagram with the caption: “My first New York Fashion Week.”
On the acting front, Ahan is gearing up for the release of his upcoming epic war drama Border 2, starring Sunny Deol, Diljit Dosanjh, and Varun Dhawan. The film is slated for release on January 22, 2026.
Directed by Anurag Singh, Border 2 also features Medha Rana, Mona Singh, and Sonam Bajwa, with production by Bhushan Kumar and J.P. Dutta. While Border (1997) was based on the Battle of Longewala during the 1971 Indo-Pakistani War, the sequel is expected to focus on the 1999 Kargil War.
In addition, Ahan will also star in an upcoming Indian horror feature penned by Patrick Graham, known for his return to Hindi-language horror. Positioned as a theatrical horror experience mixing scares with romance, the project is based on a real historical tragedy. Casting for the female lead is underway, with the title and director yet to be announced, reports Variety.
