Hyderabad: Hours before he appeared before the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) for questioning in the Formula-E race case, BRS working president KT Rama Rao hit out at the Congress government for indulging in political vendetta by misusing investigation agencies to silence opposition voices.

He asserted that neither him, nor the Bharat Rashtra Samithi would not be intimidated by enquiries, commissions or political vendetta.

“No matter how many conspiracies you hatch, Revanth Reddy, we will not back down,” he declared, challenging the Chief Minister directly.

Stating that the Congress was deceiving the people with 420 promises and declarations, Rama Rao said BRS would continue to expose the hollowness of the 420 promises, deceptive declarations and six guarantees.

“BRS will not rest until the truth behind these false promises is laid bare. Bring it on, Revanth,” he said.

I will never be deterred by your enquiries, commissions and political vendetta

We @BRSparty will continue to expose the Hollowness of #420 promises, Deceptive declarations and never to be trusted Six Guarantees

The BRS working president is scheduled to appear before the ACB in Jubilee Hills at 10 am on Monday in connection with the Formula-E race case filed against him. He had already reached the party headquarters at Telangana Bhavan and is scheduled to arrive at the ACB office as per schedule. A large number of party leaders and cadre have arrived at Telangana Bhavan in solidarity.

The ACB had served notices to Rama Rao earlier on May 26, asking him to appear for questioning on May 28. But it was postponed at his request in the wake of his pre-scheduled trip to the UK and the USA.

The ACB registered a case against Rama Rao and senior IAS officer Arvind Kumar based on allegations of corruption in the Formula-E race case. Upon summoning, the BRS working president appeared before the authorities twice in January this year. He also appeared before the Enforcement Directorate on January 16.
