Hyderabad: Czech health-tech firm Kardi Ai is set to launch its AI-powered long-term cardiac monitoring technology in India, with its official debut scheduled for September 26 in Hyderabad.

The technology was announced at the Federation of Telangana Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FTCCI) by Dr Ramana Jagarlamudi and Dr Raghavendra Rao. The prescription-grade system combines a lightweight wearable ECG chest strap, mobile connectivity and AI analytics.

Facilitated by Eurasia Medical Technologies LLP, the innovation addresses a major diagnostic gap by detecting intermittent heart abnormalities that may be missed by brief ECGs or 24-hour Holter monitoring, a press release said.

Holding an Indian MD-15 licence and EU MDR Class IIa certification, the device is designed to assist physicians without replacing clinical judgment.

With cardiovascular disease being India’s leading cause of death and 220 million citizens battling hypertension, the launch highlights the shift towards remote, AI-assisted digital healthcare under the theme, ‘From signal to insight for healthier lives’.
