Hyderabad: Asian Institute of Gastroenterology (AIG) Hospitals on Wednesday launched its new 300-bedded multi-specialty branch at Banjara Hills.
The new facility, which was inaugurated by Chief Minister, A. Revanth Reddy, is equipped with twin hybrid cath labs, a suite of fully modular operating theatres, diagnostic imaging with high-end CT and MRI machines, and dedicated advanced GI Endoscopy suites.
It also has AIG Centre for Artificial Intelligence and Innovation, which will drive the integration of AI-powered solutions into everyday clinical practice, a press release said.
The new hospital has various specialties including GI Sciences, Cardiology, including Pediatric Cardiac Surgery, Liver Sciences, Pulmonary Medicine, Neurosciences, Renal and Bladder Sciences, and other critical specialties.
Revanth Reddy congratulated Chairman, AIG Hospitals, Dr. D Nageshwar Reddy, for the new facility and said, “We are keen to collaborate with institutions like AIG Hospitals for impactful health initiatives that reach every corner of Telangana.”
