AIMIM leaders join BRS ahead of Sangareddy municipal polls

In a significant political development ahead of the municipal elections, several AIMIM leaders and nearly 50 party workers joined the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) in Sangareddy on Tuesday.

Sangareddy: Several leaders of the AIMIM joined the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) in Sangareddy municipality ahead of the elections on Tuesday.

Accompanied by BRS contestant Mohammed Younus from the fifth ward of the municipality, AIMIM leaders Mohammed Basith, Sheik Shareef and Sayyed Jaffer Hussain, along with nearly 50 party workers, formally joined the BRS in the presence of Sangareddy MLA Chintha Prabhakar.

Speaking on the occasion, Chintha Prabhakar urged the newly inducted leaders to work in coordination with BRS workers and contribute to the party’s victory in the municipal elections.
