AIMIM MLA protests police ‘special treatment’ in advocate’s murder case
AIMIM MLA Mohammed Majid Hussain protested at Abids police station in Hyderabad, accusing police of giving special treatment to suspects Mehboob Alam Khan and his son Mujahid in the murder case of senior advocate Khaja Moizuddin, who was allegedly run over by a car outside his home.

Hyderabad: All India Majlis e Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) Nampally MLA Mohammed Majid Hussain staged a protest at the Abids Road police station here on Sunday, alleging the police were providing “special treatment” to two prime suspects Mehboob Alam Khan and his son, Mujahid Alam Khan.
The police had reportedly brought the two persons for questioning to the police station in connection with the murder case of senior advocate Khaja Moizuddin.
Unknown persons had mowed down Moizuddin with a car when he came out of his house to head to a hospital to visit an ailing relative on Saturday morning.
MS Farhan, son of Moizuddin, in his complaint had alleged that Mehboob Alam Khan, and Mujahid Alam Khan had threatened his father five times in the past over some wakf-property related issues and suspected their involvement in the killing of his father.
