Airtel postpaid plans start at Rs 499 with international roaming benefit
Bharti Airtel has launched new postpaid plans starting at Rs 499, offering customers one complimentary international roaming pack every year. The five-day pack includes 5GB data, outgoing calls and SMS benefits, along with entertainment and cloud-storage subscriptions.

New Delhi: Bharti Airtel has announced a new range of postpaid plans that will offer customers one complimentary international roaming pack every year from October 8.
The free roaming benefit will include 5GB of data, 60 minutes of outgoing calls, 25 outgoing SMSes and free incoming SMSes. The pack will be valid for five days, with customers able to activate it at a time of their choice during an international trip.
Customers on Airtel’s family postpaid plans will be eligible for the complimentary roaming benefit for each SIM linked to the plan.
The new plans also include unlimited data and calling, along with spam and fraud protection. Subscribers will additionally receive various entertainment and cloud storage subscriptions depending on the plan.
The plans start at Rs 499 for an individual connection. The Rs 749 plan covers two SIMs, while the Rs 1,049 and Rs 1,249 plans cover three and four SIMs, respectively. The Rs 1,449 plan offers four SIMs, while the Rs 1,799 plan covers five SIMs.
The Rs 499 plan includes Xstream Play Premium and Google One, while the Rs 749 plan adds Amazon Prime and JioHotstar. The Rs 1,049 and Rs 1,249 plans also include Apple iCloud+ and Apple Music.
The Rs 1,449 plan additionally includes Netflix Basic, while the Rs 1,799 plan comes with Netflix Standard.
Airtel Director, Market Operations, Amit Tripathi, said the company was looking to offer customers additional value through its postpaid plans, including international roaming and access to entertainment and other services.
Existing Airtel customers on postpaid or prepaid connections can upgrade to the new plans through the Airtel app or at an Airtel store. Customers switching from other operators can also request a move to Airtel Postpaid through the app or by visiting a store.
The international roaming pack will be available from October 8 and can be activated separately for each eligible SIM.
