Akhil Akkineni gets a makeover for his next film titled ‘Lenin’

Hyderabad: After a year-long break and much anticipation from fans, Akhil Akkineni‘s next film has finally been announced. The project, titled ‘Lenin,’ was unveiled with a gripping first glimpse on the occasion of the actor’s birthday.

Breaking away from his boy-next-door image, Akhil is set to entertain his fans in a completely new avatar. Captioned, “No war is more violent than love,” the one-minute glimpse showcases Akhil in the role of a rugged village boy. The visuals are enhanced by a compelling background score composed by music director Thaman. Actress Sreeleela plays the female lead. The film is directed by Murali Kishore Abburu of Vinaro Bhagyamu Vishnu Katha fame.
