Amaravati: Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy has directed all Arogyasri hospitals to provide beds to COVID patients without fail and the empanelled hospitals to provide 50 per cent of the beds to them.
While reviewing the covid control measures and vaccination here on Thursday, he said even temporary empanelled hospitals and non-empanelled hospitals notified by the Collectors should also provide 50 per cent of the beds to COVID patients.
The hospitals should be temporarily empanelled for the purpose and all COVID patients should be provided free medical treatment under Arogyasri, he stated. “We are conducting record number of tests, breaking our own records each time. You have to increase the number of beds for COVID treatment and Arogyasri empanelled hospitals should provide 50 per cent of the beds for them. The COVID treatment should be uniform in all the hospitals,” he said.
