Hyderabad: Jewellery, except ‘mangalsutras’, bangles and related items, are among the barred items in the centres of the Group – III services recruitment examination scheduled for November 17 and 18 across the State.
Electronic devices, watch, mathematical tables, log books, log tables, wallet, handbags, jholas, pouches, writing pads, notes, charts, and loose sheets have also been prohibited. Further, candidates appearing for the examination must wear only chappals but not shoes to the centres.
The Telangana Public Service Commission (TGPSC) has come out with these restrictions to ensure smooth conduct of the examination in 1,401 centres set up across the State. As many as 1,375 Group-III posts have been notified by the TGPSC in 2022.
The examination will be conducted in two sessions i.e., 10 am to 12.30 pm and 3 pm to 5.30 pm. Candidates will be permitted into the centre from 8.30 am for morning session exam and 1.30 pm onwards for afternoon session.
The centre gates will be closed by 9.30 am for forenoon session and 2.30 pm for afternoon session. No candidate will be allowed to enter the centres after closing of the gates. The candidates can downloaded the hall ticket from the Commission’s website https://www.tspsc.gov.in. The hall ticket used for the first session must be used for the remaining sessions of the exams as well.
The Commission made it clear to the candidates that they will not be permitted into the examination hall if they come with a new downloaded copy of the hall ticket. The TGPSC informed candidates that no cloak room/storage facility to safeguard their valuables will be provided at the centres.
