After the High Court ordered re-evaluation of Telangana Group-I exams, the TGPSC has paused Group-II and III recruitments to avoid backlogs. This has created anxiety among aspirants, with no clear timeline for when appointments will resume

As part of this exercise, the Commission is set to seek indents, including vacancies in different departments, from the State government for recruitment. The details will be processed in the month of April and notifications is set to be released in May

A total of 536400 candidates registered for the examination, 76.4 per cent downloaded hall tickets and 269483 (50.24 per cent) candidates took the paper- III examination that was conducted on Monday.

Only 53.17 percent of candidates appeared for the group-3 test. Of the 13, 478 candidates 7, 166 candidates turned up at exam halls.

Collectors Rajarshi Shah, Abhilasha Abhinav, Kumar Deepak, and Venkatesh Dothre inspected venues across Adilabad, Nirmal, Mancherial, and Kumram Bheem Asifabad districts, respectively. Superintendents of Police from Adilabad, Nirmal, Kumram Bheem, and the DCP of Mancherial also conducted inspections. They directed officials to provide essential amenities for candidates and ensure the examinations are conducted strictly.

Officials said that 29 centres were created in Adilabad helping 10,255 candidates to appear for the examinations.

The TGPSC has come out with these restrictions to ensure smooth conduct of the examination in 1,401 centres set up across the State

The DSC examinations are scheduled from July 18 to August 5 and Group examinations were to be held on August 7 and 8. This was subjecting the youth to lot of inconvenience, said CPI (M) State secretary T Veerabhadram.

As per the fake web note the Group – II exam for 783 vacancies is scheduled to be held on November 17 and 18, while the Group – III recruitment exam for 1,388 vacancies is on November 24 and 25.

The TSPSC has already scheduled Group-l services preliminary test for 563 vacancies on June 9.

TSPSC has notified 1,375 vacancies under the Group-III services in various departments for which the registrations concluded on Thursday

Interested and eligible candidates can apply for the recruitment notification from January 24 to February 23.
