Hyderabad: Stylish star Allu Arjun flew to Bengaluru to pay his respects to the late Kannada actor Puneeth Rajkumar and console his family members.
The ‘Pushpa’ actor met Puneeth’s brother and actor Shivarajkumar, and wife Geetha Shivarajkumar to express his condolences, and photos from the meet have now gone viral on social media.
Fans of Arjun were left in awe of his sweet gesture. Arjun took to his Twitter account to share a picture of him paying respects to the legendary actor and penned, “My Humble respects To Puneeth Garu. My respect to the rajkumar garu’s family, friends, well wishers & fans (sic).”
The late Kannada star Puneeth had passed away on October 29, 2021, after suffering a massive cardiac arrest, and left the entire southern film industry in shock, and his fans and family members are still grieving.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Shivarajkumar has been dubbing in the place of his late brother in the upcoming film ‘James’. As per reports, Puneeth had finished filming for the Chethan Kumar directorial several days before he passed away.
Shivarajkumar is helping with the dubbing so that the film can release on March 17, the birth anniversary of Puneeth Rajkumar. Shivanna stated that the entire experience was very emotional for him.
