Almost all constructions in Ayyappa Society illegal, says HYDRAA official

The official stated that almost all constructions in Ayyappa society are illegal and HYDRAA will start with at least demolishing constructions on which High Court has given clear directions.

Hyderabad: The HYDRAA continued the demolition of a multi storied building allegedly constructed illegally at Ayyappa Society at Madhapur on Monday.

The authorities deployed huge cranes to complete the demolition of the multi-storied building that started on Sunday. The High Court had earlier directed GHMC to demolish the illegal building and the corporation as a practice had made some holes on the slab and left it. The builder had allegedly closed the holes and went ahead with seven floors illegal construction.

The official stated that almost all constructions in Ayyappa society are illegal and HYDRAA will start with at least demolishing constructions on which High Court has given clear directions.

Commissioner HYDRAA, A V Ranganath said a report on the officers responsible for permitting the illegal construction of the presently demolished building will also be sent to the government for action.
