Amangal Tahsildar, surveyor caught taking bribe in Ranga Reddy

The ACB on Tuesday caught Amangal Tahsildar Ch Lalitha and Mandal Surveyor K Ravi in Ranga Reddy district while accepting a bribe of Rs 50,000. They had earlier collected a similar amount. A case was registered and investigation is underway

Hyderabad: The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) on Tuesday caught Amangal Tahsildar Ch Lalitha and Mandal Surveyor K Ravi of Ranga Reddy district while accepting a bribe.

Officials said the duo had demanded Rs 50,000 each from the complainant for completing a land registration and making corrections in land records. The Tahsildar had already collected Rs 50,000 earlier to initiate the process.

The ACB registered a case and launched an investigation.
