American footballer Hassani Doston proposes to girlfriend on the field

American footballer Hassani Dotson’s partner Petra Vukovic would surely remember the match on Saturday (July 3). As usual, Petra was representing Minnesota United against San Jose Earthquake at the on-going Major League Soccer at the Allianz Field, and then things took a dramatic turn. She stood on the field to greet her beau Dotson returning to the sidelines and was stunned to see him go down on his knees. So, this is something to remember for a lifetime.
Going down on one knee, Dotson proposed to his girlfriend with a ring. Petra, who went speechless, simply nodded with a ‘Yes’, covering her face with both hands amid sobs of happiness. Dotson then went on to put the ring on his partner’s finger even as the fans and his fellow team players roared in appreciation. Soon after, the couple was seen posing to the camera to make it a memorable moment for the fans and themselves.
The couple later took to social media to share the moment with the rest of the world. Posting the video of him proposing and pictures of the couple from the stadium, Dotson wrote: “I liked it… So I put a ring on it.”

Dotson’s partner Petra Vukovic also took to her Instagram profile to share how elated her heart feels. “There aren’t words that express anything close to the happiness my heart feels. To be loved by you is a blessing, Hassani. A HUGE thank you for all of the wishes and to everyone who was involved in helping put this beautiful everlasting memory into my life (sic),” she wrote.

Although the match ended in a 2-2 draw, it was a win for the couple and the spectators who could not take their eyes off the moment.
Meanwhile, Minnesota are placed sixth in the Western Conference with15 points from 11 matches so far.
