The ‘Swalla’ singer took to his Instagram handle recently to share a video of him making the Indian sweet. In the viral video, Derulo can be seen boiling the milk, making the batter and then frying the jalebis. Impressed fans left thousands of comments on his post.
“Did Jason derulo just make jalebi?” asked a surprised fan in the comment section. “Damn he cooked JALEBI!” exclaimed another fan. “I’m here for JD making Indian/desi food content!” wrote a fan. The mash-up song ‘Jalebi Baby’, by Derulo and Tesher can be heard playing in the background.
The Instagram Reel currently has over 7 million likes and even got the approval of actor Priyanka Chopra. She shared his Reel on her stories and wrote, “Let’ goo @jasonderulo #jalebibaby.”
