Anand Deverakonda wraps up ‘Highway’

Hyderabad: Actor Anand Deverakonda, who was appreciated by audiences for his performance in ‘Middle Class Melodies’ last year, has been shooting back-to-back films.

The movie, titled ‘Highway’, has wrapped up the entire shoot in Hyderabad and entered post-production stage. Cinematographer-turned-director KV Guhan is directing the movie. According to the makers, the movie’s release date will soon be announced.

Marking her debut in Telugu cinema, Malayalam actor Manasa Radhakrishnan is playing the love interest of Anand Deverakonda in this film. 

“‘Highway’ is a road movie-cum-psychological crime thriller with a refreshing story, stylish presentation, and shot with high technical values. I am confident that the screenplay and the script keep throwing surprises at the audiences throughout the run time. I am happy about the outcome and hope Telugu audiences like my third film as a director,” said KV Guhan.

Anand Deverakonda and Manasa Radhakrishnan starrer crime thriller ‘Highway’ is bankrolled by Venkat Talari, and music is being rendered by Simon K King. Actor Anand will also be seen playing the lead role in upcoming dark comedy movie ‘Pushpaka Vimanam’.
